About me
I came to therapy by a winding route. Before training, I spent over a decade in publishing as a commissioning editor, working closely with writers on the stories they wanted to tell. What drew me in then is what draws me to this work now — a deep curiosity about people, and a belief that being properly listened to can change things.
My own experience of therapy in my thirties was quietly transformative, and it set me on the path to retraining. I qualified in 2014 and have been in full-time private practice for the last seven years.
I work with adults navigating anxiety, perfectionism, grief, fertility and pregnancy-related experiences, and the unsettlements of midlife. I have a particular soft spot for clients in creative and high-pressure professional lives, where the inner critic can be especially loud.
Outside of work, I'm a keen sea swimmer, an inconsistent gardener, and still a voracious reader.
